I suppose I've always had an interest in photography, be it staring longingly at my fathers SLR as a child, or electronically exploding by mother's flash bulbs as a (slightly) older child.
My real passion started with the dawn of the digital SLR age and I've been fortunate to own a few models over recent years. I now use a Canon EOS 1Ds MKII and a Canon EOS 5D and I love the full frame sensors for landscape shots. I also have an EOS 3 film camera which sees occasional use.
If pressed, I'd say my favourite subject was land- or seascape. However, I recently acquired a 300mm lens and a 1.4x TC. The 420mm reach makes wildlife photography a real possibility which I have been exploiting lately.
